My contract was not renewed after I announced my pregnancy

Have you noticed that, following the announcement of your pregnancy, your supervisor has been treating you less favourably, and have you been told that, despite earlier promises, your contract will not be renewed? As a pregnant woman, you are protected against discrimination, as well as against dismissal and non-renewal of your contract. Based on the information you share with us (previous employment contract(s), correspondence regarding your pregnancy, and any evidence linking your pregnancy to the non-renewal), the Institute can assess whether discrimination may have taken place. If you give your consent, the Institute can contact your employer to draw their attention to the relevant legislation and the suspicion that prohibited discrimination has taken place.

You can also report any other unfair treatment you have experienced in connection with your pregnancy to the Institute.
