After my full-time parental leave, I am not allowed to return to my job

Once your maternity leave, paternity leave, parental leave or other types of special leave have ended, you are entitled to return to your original post or, if that is not possible, to an equivalent post. This means, for example, that your employer cannot simply decide that your replacement will stay on and that you must take on a different role. If this happens, you can contact the Institute. If you would like us to investigate your report and, if necessary, contact your employer, please provide us with further information about your return to work, your employment contract and anything else that may be relevant to your report.

You can also report any other unfair treatment you have experienced in relation to parenthood to the Institute.
