I’m not allowed into the massage parlour because I’m a man

Are you being denied access to a particular paid service on the grounds of, for example, your sex, gender identity, gender expression, or medical or social transition? For example: a shop or restaurant where only men are allowed in, a paid workshop open only to women, or a yoga retreat aimed at women where a trans woman is not admitted. Or are you being charged more for that service?

If so, please contact us. We will investigate the situation and, if necessary, contact the provider of the goods or service to remind them of anti-discrimination legislation. When submitting your report, you may include all relevant correspondence and information (e.g. screenshots, emails, etc.) for your case file. This will help us in our analysis, after which we will contact you to discuss together what specific steps we will take in your case.

You can also report any other instances of unfair treatment you have experienced on the grounds of your gender, whether at work or in other areas of public life, to the Institute.
